What I do as a Biker on saipan

Here on Saipan there are many sports and activities to do, personally I like to bike. One of the biggest and most known events is the Hell of the Marianas (HOM), which takes place on December 6th. HOM is a 100 mile/ 60km bike ride around the island, which takes you up and down every major hill on Saipan. It is a lot of fun, and you get to see many people from a lot of different places. The only way I prepare for the HOM is just to train as much as I can while at the same time balancing my school work. I bike every Sunday from 6- 10 am, I try to do interval training while I’m biking, and try to beat my previous times. My route usually starts at Wild Bills in Garapan. I then bike out to Marpi and ride up Radar tower hill, which is the left hand turn right after La Fiesta, and then I bike back down and then I head to Suicide cliff. On my way I pedal, or in bikers terms, Spin, as fast as I can and keep my cadence up (how fast you are pedaling). Once I get up suicide I bike down to bird island look out, down to grotto and then back out to bonsai. By this time I am a little tired but I still push to keep my cadence up. After I do the official turn at
Bonsai I head back as fast as I can to Wild Bills. There I enjoy my delicious meal and with it I drink Endurox, which is a sports enhancement drink, to help my muscles repair themselves faster and come back stronger.
