Utopia
Paradise to me is being on a deserted beach with soft white sand at sunset. The reason I would like it at sunset, is because that is around the time I was born, just as the sun went down. In my perspective sunset is one of the most beautiful times of the day, because of the way the color of the sun reflects off the water and then projects itself up into the skies above and turns the heavens into a color pallet of reds, oranges and yellows. My favorite type of sunset is when the sun is a big fiery ball right above the ocean's horizon, and you can still look at the sun comfortably. There should be no over cast, and the water, smooth as glass with the soft sound of small waves against the sand. I would only allow one other person next to me, and both of us would be enjoying a nice cool refreshment of our choosing, no food, because it would create noise that would take away from the peaceful ambiance. The only thing making sound other than the soothing sound of the waves is the small boom box playing music found on my I-pod, at volume 18, being that it is my favorite number. For seating there will be a wooden structure elevated a foot off the ground with pillows and cushions all over and a roof over head, the walls will be nothing but mosquito netting which can be tied back to allow full view of the sunset and to allow the nice cool breeze to whisk on by. I would lay there with the person of my choosing and we would enjoy our beverage and talk about how beautiful the sunset is and exchange stories or memories we had. One of the stories I personally tell almost every time I see a sun set is when I was younger, I had a very special friend and we were both sitting next to the beach enjoying life, and watching how as the sun got lower and lower in the sky, the clouds seemed to turn into deeper colors of red and orange filling the heavens.
