Sibling rivalry

How to survive two disrespectful, obnoxious brothers
Every day there are problems, I don’t know what’s wrong with them, either they are mentally retarded or just plain stupid. They piss me off on a daily basis, they think they do everything around the house, but in reality they do nothing. They fight with my parents constantly and it makes me angry because I feel as though I need to knock both of them out because they are so disrespectful. They should let me inflict pain and suffering upon them when needed, but since I am too big, I cannot. The only thing I have been able to do for the past 17 years was tolerate. With toleration, they stand there and I stand here, they come into my space constantly and punch me, insult me constantly, but if I just ignore them, I will not have to waste my time, energy and force to correct them. Some of my friends find my brothers to be “All right” but in fact they aren’t all they seem to be.
They are completely disrespectful to both my mother and father. Which is kind of funny because not too long ago when I was 15 they use to fight with me and say “What the hell, you aren’t even my brother just get away from me”, yea they used me being an adopted child as an insult, I have probably heard that from both of them at least three times.
Also, once when I was leaving for Destino Peru, I remember seeing all the other siblings drop off their older brothers and sisters that were coming with me, saying goodbyes and such. One of my siblings showing the sin of Sloth didn’t even bother to say goodbye. The other one, well ill give some points to actually coming along, but only because he got donuts after they dropped me off, only said “I hope you die in a plane crash”, that was the last thing he said to me before I left.
After that, when I came back from Peru, I had gotten them each a small little gift. One a Peruvian hat and another some Peruvian gloves, they both looked and them and said “what the hell do I need this for, never mind” and threw them back. The greatest thing about this all, I don’t care too much what they say to me, I have learned to emotionally block it out, so it is like a rock hitting a sponge and I absorb the blow. This isn’t the only time a gift has gone wrong.
The best part of all this, even though they treat me like this, I still am obliged to drive them to each of their girlfriends house, take them to the movies, skate park, drive their friends, whatever it is I am sucked into, and I don’t have much to do against it.
My brothers to my parents, I can only say that, they scream, they yell, they throw tantrums, throw things, back talk, talk badly to both of them, and don’t care about anything.
I have just noticed that this is why every day I come to school early and try to keep myself as busy as I can so I go home late and not have to listen to the bickering and insults. It must be my subconscious mind controlling me to stay away, even over the weekends I leave from around 8 in the morning and usually sometimes don’t come back till 2 in the morning, maybe spending about an hour at home, when the sun is out, and another 4 hours just sleeping. But most of the times I may be sleeping trying to block out the noise.
I have been told by a very special person to me that I should be more forgiving and forgetful. I guess I’m good at the forgiving part, after the fact that when one of my brothers insult me a few minutes later come ask to go get a treat at the market. But the forgetting part is hard to grasp.
To sum it all up, the way to deal with a troublesome problem, is just to tolerate it. Even though it is hard to do, that is what I follow, even though I believe in a world where you do something I disapprove of, I will focus all my power and smash it upon you to make sure you never do it again. I have forgotten the word for this; I learned it in Mr. Tessen’s Class. But anyways I’m going to go sleep now.
Byeee ^^

Things Not to do on a Mtb

Things not to do when you are mountain biking
Number one, and this applies to plain biking in general, never squeeze the front handle break by itself unless you are going uphill. You will perform what bikers call "ass-over-tea kettle". The way it happens is when you squeeze the front handle break really hard, and with the law of gravity and physics all working against you, the forward motion of the wheel suddenly coming to a stop will cause the rear part of you and your bike to roll over itself. As you start to come up over your handle bars there is a brief moment you have where you think to yourself.. "Dear lord, this is going to hurt." Then there is that moment of darkness after you hit the ground, your eyes are closed, you feel a little bit of pain, and your brain goes through its own kind of  system check (Arms? check, legs? check, Head able to move? check, open eyes slowly.. Check). Once your eyes are open you slowly look around and then slowly start to move any of your other limbs to see if they are not broken. Then the next thing to go through your mind, if you are a normal person, is what is the condition of your bike. I have heard countless stories of people getting into horrible accidents and the first thing to cross their mind is their bike, they have no worry about their physical being what so ever.
Number two, if there is moss, grease, ice, or anything resembling a slippery surface. TRY TO AVOID IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! I cannot stress enough on how important it is to stay away from slippery surfaces. My father had a really bad accident one day, when his bike slipped out from under him and he broke his collar bone, fractured his arm or something and then had a really bad bruise on his pelvis. He had like a belt of purple around his waist, which was perfectly straight, it was abnormal...
Number Three, Do not speed... its plain logic, dont speed when conditions are bad, just go a reasonable speed that you are comfortable with and dont look back behind you when you are blazing down a steep hill. This is a Shout Out right here if you know who it is HAHA! Glad you didnt get hurt my friend.

Rainy Days

Days where it pours cats and dogs from the sky, and all the little kids with they were lemon drops and gum drops. To days where its like an oven, and kids on on the side walk selling lemonade, oh what a wonderful world.
To me, all days are wonderful, weather they be sunny or rainy, its all good to me. I enjoy the soothing sound of the falling rain upon the roof, and also when I go out side, the feeling of the cold droplets on my face. Its all so relaxing. It makes me feel as though im in a cool dark cave just content on the simplicity of life, and I can enjoy my slumber.  Then there are those times where I get excited, when lighting and thunder roar across the valley where I live. The bright flashes grab my attention and then I listen intently as I wait to hear the roar of the booming thunder. As the rain pours harder, everything gets mixed up in the orchestra of lightning, thunder and rain. My parents use to say the angels are bolwing with god, and he just got a strike. But that was long ago when I was little and use to be afraid of the thunder. Now that I am older, I enjoy it all of it. Not only because of the cool darkness it provides but also the bleak grey scenery that comes with it. Its like a veil over the land scape, knowing its there but you cant see it.
Then there are those days where its bright and sunny. Those days I love, besides the blistering heat, its almost magical. The great blue sky over head seems to spead endlessly over head. Although, does it span forever? nah I dont think so, because after all the earth is round right. But thats not all, the different shades of the blue sky are just amazing! When I was in the States, I could look up and see nothing but clear blue skies all around me. Since the state of Iowa is so flat, it is just in interupted sky all around, though there are not that many interesting portraits to take a picture of the sky with (mountain or some other kind of background). The best kind of clear sunny day is one with a nice cool breeze to keep everything bright and cool. There is nothing better than a walk on the beach with a cool cross breeze and the sun over head. Since it is a clear day, that means a clear sunset. The best time to try and see the rare Green Flash. But if I really had to choose the best kind of sunset would be when its a clear horizon and there are just a few clouds over head, that way you can see the different colours and shades the sun gives off as it reflects it self off the water up onto the coulds. From orange, to sometimes even a purple, its really great to be able to see one.

Part two of my day at school

As I have left off from my previous (previous) Blog I was talking about my day at school. I left off at around the start of Break, our break is usually 15 minutes long. During that time, if you have not done your homework, you can do that, or you can just hang out in Mr. Tessen's or Mr. Lee's room till it is time to go to your next class.  After break, depending on what day it is, we have either Mr. Tessen or Ms. Peterson.  Mr.Tessen's class is always a class I like, because he is a fun teacher and I am used to his teaching style. Hes always entertaining to listen to and very easy to get along with. I have always tried to strive in his classes. Mr.Tessen and Mr.Lee are my top two classes I look forward to everyday.

On the other days we have Ms.Peterson, or as we call her Ms.P or Kim/Kimberly/ Kimi. We all love our teachers evenly, although some more than others depending on the student, but we try to be equal. During Ms.P's class we learn Chemistry, and I enjoy it, but if I am tired, and she is giving a lecture with a power point wth the lights off. I cant help but put my head down and doze off for two minutes. It is funny when I doze off during some classes, I hear everything and everyone around me, but its very dark and peaceful.

After that period, we will either Have Ms.Nancy or Ms. Jang, I first have to announce I have kown Ms.Jang for almost 6 years now, maybe even more, but I have been her student for a very long time now.

Ms. Nancy would probably be the one I'm most interested in because it is art, and I love art and working with pen, pencil, and colours. This semester we are working with sculpting, I will be sculpting a Henry Moore sculpture. Henry Moore is a very famous abstract sculptor. The art piece i have chosen is very challenging, and I will be forced to make it in two parts. First, the inside of the piece and then the outside.

Ms. Jang, I have been with her a very long time, and she is my long time Chinese teacher and Music Teacher. I have learned a great deal from her, but it took some of my chinese classmates to help me put those words to use.

Byes

Ok as you may have known we have just lost one of our good long time friends the Berrys.  Here I am to talk about thier departure and we are going to miss them dearly.  It all started out in the third grade, There I was finish my math work for Mr. London, who was the teacher with the big black jeans and gave third graders 8th grade math... As I was saying, I was finishing my work and then in comes this white kid. I was excited to actualy have another white person in my class! HAHA! I know kinda weird, but thats how it was. Right when he walked in I went straight up to him and introduced myself, yea, back then I was kind of a square... But from that moment on we were best friends. I was his first friend and best friend when he first came to this isalnd, an we have been through alot. From third grade one we played around and normal kid stuff, and finished Mr London's horrible math sessions.
In fourth Grade we had Paige Rahman, who was a vey kind teacher. Chris and I always tried to make these Castles in her class and shoot them apart, ahh those were good times... We aslo had to do these reading checks, He and I would try to compete to see who would read to most and get the higher score, although I have forgotten who won in the end. haha. Chris would always amaze Mrs. Rahman with hi knowledge on cars and WWII. even at such a young age. That year went on without a hitch.
In fifth grade we had Gene Chigaris, She was probly the most fun teacher I had in grade school. She took us on Hikes every month, Chris and I were usualy partners in hiking down to Forbidden or some other adventerous place, and it was alot of fun, memories I wont forget. Once I tried to show him how strong the wind was out on Forbidden and I threw a stick off a cliff, as it floated up by the force of the wind it came screamin back at us and almost hit us on its way back. Those were good times... good times
In Sixth grade, we had two teachers. Ms. Pitts and another teacher whos name I cannot recall at the moment, but I remember them both being some what fun. In the sense that alot of my other best friends would laugh for alot of the time. One instant would be when Chris would start laughing then it spread to my other best friend Richard, then Kevin, Jimmy, and Finally Tim Robago. The teacher would go "WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?!" and Tim would try to explain why he was laughin by trying to explain himself as he was laughing "Im laughing because of Jimmy's laugh and him laughing at Kevin's laugh, and Kevin laughed because of  Richard, and Richard laughed because of Chris who just laughed out of the blue."
Those were hilarious moments. Just Crazy.
From Seventh through Freshman year was alll fun and games, Having movie parties at my house, going go karting, paintball wars, TRAVELING TO PERU during the summer! Being Roomies. JUST AWESOME! I will never forget those great times we had. I remember being Peru and Chris being the "White boy" he is doesnt know how to fold clothes... so I had to go through ALL HIS CLOTHES and fold every one of them neatly into his suitcase... yuck.. but atleast it was clean...
Though Sadly in Sophomore year, Chris Berry the white boy moved to Southern, I hear he has a good rep over there so atleast he was good off there, thank god. But even though we were in seperate schools we still had parties and had fun.
Then comes the dreaded Junior year when he moves to Virginia... I am going to miss him alot.. him and his.. Whiteness HAHA!
With his last days here we Partied hard for two days and on his last BBQ party day we stayed out till 11 oclock just strollin through saipan and having a blast! Along with Amber, Nathan, Anna Rose, Stacy, and last but not least his awesome brother Bo!.
We after 11:30 we went home and waited till 3 which was when his flight was going to leave, we planned on going down and sayin our very last goodbyes..
as time came around it was three in the morning I was almost dead tired, but I pulled through and we picked up Amber from her house, and drove down to the Airport where we said our Very last goodbyes and just talked and joked around till it was time for them to board.. Mrs. Berry was on the verge of tears as she saw all of there, her words were that "we were such Dedicated friends, and she is going to miss all of us". Gave everyone hugs and then watched them as they walked up through the doors to Secruity. Thats the last I have seen of them, and I hope next Summer to go and visit them in VIRGINIA :)!
Peace

Blog entry #2

As my second blog entry I am going to write about the 10%. My day starts off in the morning at 5:00- 5:15. I get up slowly and slowly make my way to the shower where I wash my self awake. The next thing I do is brush my teeth, get my clothes and put them on. By this time it is around 5:40- 5:45, yes I do take my time, and I go down stairs, pack all of my belongings and read for a little while. I try to leave my house at around 6:45 now days, for I no longer have to wait for my brothers anymore. I dont see anyone when I wake up in the morning, my mom leaves a bit earlier than I do and my father usualy working out.  So I just leave in the morning...

I get in my car, plug in my ipod and then start the engine and begin my ride to school.  When ever I drive I perfer to listen to music, and I listen to all kinds of music. A word to describe the music on my Ipod would be universal, I have music from all different nationailities and genres from Country to Techno. I am kind of the person who is moved by certain music, but some times thats not the case.

On average it takes me about 11- 18 mins to get to school, depending on the ammount of in- experienced drivers on the roads, lights, and traffic in the construction areas. As I pull into school I take my usual parking space in the field, turn off my car, unplug my ipod, grab my things and start my walk to the SIS campus.  On my way to the High School I usualy say "Hi" or "Goodmorning" to the little kids, older adults, teachers, and other people who just so happen to cross my path. Usualy I see, Andrea, Adel, Palai, some of the other small kids in thier class and some parents walking thier children to Kindergarden or Pre- school. It brings me back to the time when I was that age and I would walk down that hall to my class room, but unusaly I dont remember a single upper classman from those times. It was like I always walked straight, with my eyes set on my classroom door.

Once I get to the Highschool, I walk down the long dark hall way till I reach Mr. Lee's room. Then I open the door and walk into the bright cool classroom and take my usual seat. Every morning I like to say "Goodmorning" to Mr.Lee who ususaly replies with a simple smile and "hello" back. If I am early that day, I would go back out and wander around the dark hall way or go into Mr. Tessen's room and speak with him and tell him how hungry I am, because I dont ever eat breakfast. But, once the clock reaches 7:40 I walk back to Mr. Lee's room, get my lunch ticket and mark my name down for lunch.

When the clock hits 7:45 Mr. Lee then gathers all the tickets and has someone run them to Ms. Julie who then send it over to PSS so we can have lunch later on. Then, class begins, I usualy enjoy it when Mr. Lee starts off with a philisphical quote of some sort. I enjoy his Philisopical moments during class, it takes things to a different level of thinking in a way, although i dont have the right word for it, its interesting. But for our First two periods, everyday, they are with Mr. Lee, Either Ap Language or Pre- Calculus.

This is how the first part of my usual morning goes, and how I go physicaly through the day.
and this ends today's blog
Peace-

My First Blog

For my first blog i am going to write about my time in Iowa on Ragbrai. Ragbrai is a seven day bike ride across the state of Iowa, it is not a race, and each day there is a fixed amount of miles that you are suppose to cover by night fall. Everyone meets at the City that is chosen to hold the Ragbrai riders for the night. It is a wonderful experience and ALOT of fun.

First, you start out in the morning, either being the early rising racers or the late leisure riders, and you start your course for the designated city. On your way you stop off at small little towns on the way, and each one holds a huge party just for the Ragbrai riders. All of which, sell everything from drinks, refreshments, and beer. To brand new bycicles and other accesories.

Being a first timer there, I didnt know what to expect, but this was beyond words. everyone around you is all having fun and just very friendly. There are some people who ride annualy and they have thier very own teams, such as Team Flamigo, they dress up all in Pink and they look just hilarious. Then there are the few people who ride with just a speedo on, which was my misfortune to have seen... There are Many other different teams, but there is far too many to name, and each of them have thier very own outfits they like to wear.

On my ride there were alot of interesting people. Some of which, were wearing thongs on the out side of thier bike shorts, but the most interesting people were probably team Road Booty. They were two sisters, that looked to be in thier early 30s' and they worse short skirts and a shirt that showed thier stomachs. It wasnt the most pleasant sight for me, but alot of the other men loved them, and they WERE a very interesting pair. For example, one of the girls was talking to a bigger man and they seemed to be laughing a whole lot and I had just so happened to look over. As they continued thier, laughing the girl then turned around and lifted her skirt up right infront of the man, luckily she had on bike shorts with a thong over it (THANK GOD). The man then contiuned in a half drunked state to pull his pants down and full on mooned the girl. Another TG moment, he was turned around... But even for being skimpy women, they were good riders on the flats, we burned it up the last leg to Iowa City, the chosen city for the night, and we arrived there and i had the blessing to be able to stay at The Isle Casino and hotel. My dad and I had a great room, we got all showered up and got ready to go to the Beatles look alike concert later on (the shower was HEAVEN!). But as we arrived at the concert we found out the no persons under 21 were allowed in, because there was alcohol and they didnt want to expose minors to it.... this part SUCKS because i really wanted to get up and see them, they sounded soo much like the beatles.

But, to sum it all up, it was a great day. ALOT of fun, and it was a great experience. To top it all off i got a great night sleep and was not sore in the morning. Another good thing i loved hearing was listening to the people complain about the tiny hills they had there and how much of a challenge it was for them, BAHA! they were not really hills they were just like mere bumps in the road in my eyes.
Well this concludes my First Blog and thank you for reading

Test

Hey to the people out there this is just a small test to see if this blogger will work
peace out
